Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property of our authors and we make every effort to respect their copyright, while disseminating scholarly research, at The Cartograph: An International Interdisciplinary Journal of Literature, Sustainability, and Culture.

Copyright Transfer

The authors who submit manuscripts to the Journal should be sure they are original and have not been published or submitted elsewhere. When a manuscript is accepted, the author(s) will be asked to fill out and submit a Copyright Transfer Form.

By granting the copyright, the author(s) enable the journal to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Submission and Documentation

Manuscripts should be submitted online via the journal's Publishing Management System. Authors can submit articles to the platform with ease and monitor them via the editorial and peer-review process.

The authors will be asked to:

  • Submit their manuscript through the online portal.
  • Complete and upload the Copyright Transfer Form when requested.
  • Ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete.
  • Obtain permission for any copyrighted material included in the manuscript.

Author Responsibilities

The author(s) will ensure that:

  • The submitted work is original.
  • Proper acknowledgment is given to all sources used.
  • Any third-party copyrighted content has been used with the necessary permissions.
  • The manuscript does not infringe upon the rights of any individual or organization.

Use of Published Content

Articles published in this journal can be archived, indexed and disseminated to increase their visibility and accessibility within the academic community. The authors can use their published work for academic and research purposes with proper reference to the original publication.

The journal follows established ethical publishing standards and takes copyright infringement seriously. Any concerns regarding copyright violations or unauthorized use of published content will be investigated and addressed according to journal policies and accepted publishing practices.
